Meet Axl, a resilient and loving dog whose journey has been nothing short of heartbreaking. Axl’s life took a turn when he was quilled by a porcupine. Though his family managed to pay for the initial surgery, he was still having major issues with his eye. Faced with the devastating decision of not being able to afford further care, his family turned to us for help, and we couldn’t say no to this sweet boy in his time of need.
Upon examination, our veterinary team discovered that a quill had made its way into Axl’s eye, damaging it beyond repair. To relieve his pain and give him the chance at a brighter future, we removed the damaged eye. Despite everything he’s endured, Axl remains the sweetest, most loving dog who steals the heart of everyone he meets!
