When Raymond was found all alone in the freezing snow, he was too cold to move. Shivering and frostbitten, he was rescued and brought to our friends at the Canadian Animal Task Force, who gave him urgent care, including antibiotics and pain relief. But his fight isn't over yet.
After arriving at AARCS, Raymond’s frostbite damage became heartbreakingly clear – his left ear tip sloughed off right in the middle of his veterinary exam. On top of that, he’s struggling with mobility issues that suggest nerve damage in his front leg, a possible extensor injury in his hind leg, and a painful ear infection. To make matters worse, his heart rate was alarmingly low, though we’re hopeful that’s just a side effect of his pain medications.
Despite everything he’s been through, Raymond is a fighter. He’s receiving ongoing medical care, pain management, and all the love we can give, but his road to recovery will be long. Your support can help cover his treatments, diagnostics, and continued care to give him the second chance he deserves.
Please donate today to help Raymond heal. Together, we can turn his frosty beginning into a warm and loving future!
Email updates showing Raymond's progress will be provided to those who donate towards his care.
Care requirements include antibiotics, pain medication, neurological diagnostics, possible amputation surgery, follow up veterinary care and daily care until Raymond is ready for adoption.
If the amount raised for Raymond exceeds his cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.
