Blaze, the Tiny Dog with a Big Concern

Say hello to Blaze, the tiny and adorable 6-year-old chihuahua mix with a big heart concern.

Blaze has a Grade 5 heart murmur - the highest and most serious one. He is taking a heart medication that helps to decrease the progression of heart disease in an attempt to give him a longer and healthier life.

Blaze is also in need of a major dental surgery; however, with his heart condition, surgery is risky. Before we can proceed with the surgery, he needs an echocardiogram (an ultrasound of his heart) to better understand his condition and ensure that we implement the safest anesthetic protocol for his well-being.

Blaze may be small, but the costs to ensure his safety and comfort are not. Can you help us make a big impact on this little dog?

Care requirements include an echocardiogram, dental surgery, ongoing heart medications and daily care until Blaze is ready for adoption.
