Savannah came to us as part of our largest ever guinea pig intake, and upon exam we discovered a lump on her back!
Our veterinarians looked at the contents of the lump and discovered it is a cyst and infected. She's receiving antibiotics for the infection and will need surgical removal of the cyst to ensure it doesn't come back.
Surgery on small animals like guinea pigs carries elevated risk due to their small size, so we're sending Savannah to a partner veterinary clinic that is well-versed in critter surgery.
Can you help us cover the cost of her care so she can get back to living her best squeaky life?
Email updates showing Savannah's progress will be provided to those who donate towards her care.
Care requirements include antibiotics, surgery at partner clinic, follow up veterinary care and daily care until Savannah is ready for adoption.
If the amount raised for Savannah exceeds her cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.
Please note that when donating to more than one animal, your credit card may be flagged for unusual activity. We recommend waiting a few minutes between transactions to prevent this error. Thank you for your patience!
