Kismet is just about a year old, but instead of enjoying her puppy days, she is battling painful demodex mange: an overgrowth of non-contagious mites that have caused significant hair loss and relentless itchiness. On top of that, she’s suffering from pyoderma, a skin infection that has left her skin raw and painful. 

Despite it all, Kismet remains incredibly sweet, just a pup looking for love to soothe her pain. She will need several weeks of treatment, including medicated baths, antibiotics, supplements and pain control to help her heal and feel like a happy young dog again.

Maybe it was fate – kismet – that brought her to us when she needed help most. Will you help us give this brave girl the care she needs and the fresh start she deserves?

Email updates showing Kistmet's progress will be provided to those who donate towards her care. 

Care requirements include medicated baths, oral antibiotics, omegas, probiotics, pain medications, follow up veterinary care and daily care until Kismet is ready for adoption.
