Meet Diplomat, a sweet cat who we've known on and off for quite some time.

We first met this cutie back in September 2021 as an itty bitty kitty suffering from an upper respiratory tract infection and ear mites. After some time and veterinary care, she got better, and was adopted! However, she had to return to AARCS in October 2023. Throughout her life, Diplomat has experienced ongoing ear infections. After an extensive veterinary workup at our AARCS Veterinary Hospital, we discovered a nasopharyngeal polyp in her middle ear - a benign growth typically seen in younger cats, which we believe is causing the incessant ear infections.

Our next step to help Diplomat feel some relief is to send her to a Board Certified Surgeon for a Ventral Bulla Osteotomy (VBO) surgery to remove the polyp in her middle ear. This is a costly procedure, but we are committed to giving Diplomat the best chance at a normal, comfortable life!

Can you help us get this kitty the surgery she needs to finally feel better and find her happily ever after, more than 2 years after her first interaction with us?

Email updates showing Diplomat's progress will be provided to those who donate towards her care.

Care requirements include Ventral Bulla Osteomety (VBO surgery), post-operative care and support including follow up veterinary exams and pain management, and daily care until Diplomat is ready for adoption.

If the amount raised for Diplomat exceeds her cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.

Please note that when donating to more than one animal, your credit card may be flagged for unusual activity. We recommend waiting a few minutes between transactions to prevent this error. Thank you for your patience!
