Allow us to introduce you to a dog that is larger than life, both in his size and his personality: Hoss!

Hoss initially came into AARCS care from another organization after he lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. With careful monitoring and a strict feeding schedule, he has started showing improvement in his body condition and putting some much needed weight back on. Unfortunately, this is not the end of his troubles. Hoss has also managed to tear his Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) in his knee. For this exuberant and playful boy, a knee injury like this is making everything he enjoys painful and challenging.

In order to get handsome Mr. Hoss back on his feet and back to his favourite activities, he needs a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery. Can you help Hoss return to his bouncy, energetic, adorable ways?

Email updates showing Hoss's progress will be provided to those who donate towards his care. Read Hoss's first email update here!

Care requirements include Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery, post-operative care and support including follow up veterinary exams and pain management, and daily care until Hoss is ready for adoption.

If the amount raised for Hoss exceeds his cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.

Please note that when donating to more than one animal, your credit card may be flagged for unusual activity. We recommend waiting a few minutes between transactions to prevent this error. Thank you for your patience!
