Meet Peanut, a 4-year-old American guinea pig with a big problem for such a small animal.

Peanut has a large ruptured mass, nearly 3cm in diameter, on her left hip area. For a guinea pig weighing less than a kilogram, this is a HUGE mass!

Peanut will need to undergo surgery to remove the mass. Our veterinary team has been keeping the ruptured mass clean until it can be removed.

Can you show our little Peanut that she deserves just as much love and care as the larger animals?

Email updates showing Peanut's progress will be provided to those who donate towards her care. Read Peanut's first email update here!

Care requirements include antibiotics, mass removal surgery and daily care until Peanut is ready for adoption.

If the amount raised for Peanut exceeds her cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.

Please note that when donating to more than one animal, your credit card may be flagged for unusual activity. We recommend waiting a few minutes between transactions to prevent this error. Thank you for your patience!
