Zoinks! This is Scoobert, a 6-month-old puppy who arrived at AARCS in ruff shape. He is emaciated, has a previous jaw injury that has now healed and is suffering from a fractured hind leg. His previous jaw injury has left him with physical changes to his jaw and broken teeth that will need to be extracted.

It looks like poor Scoobert may have had a run-in with something or someone that left him with what are likely bite wounds on his back leg and the break near his hock (ankle joint). Sadly, this injury has left him in too much pain for just Scooby Snacks to fix. Our team of heroes believes his best chance at a happy future is to amputate the leg.

Scoobert is shy, terrified, and still recovering from his ordeal, but with your help, we know this resilient pup can recover. Will you help this nervous little guy on his journey to recovery? Scoobert needs the whole gang of meddling kids in his corner!

Email updates showing Scoobert's progress will be provided to those who donate towards his care.

Care requirements include amputation, dental surgery, pain medications pre- and post-operation, vaccinations, deworming and daily care until Scoobert is ready for adoption.

If the amount raised for Scoobert exceeds his cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.

Please note that when donating to more than one animal, your credit card may be flagged for unusual activity. We recommend waiting a few minutes between transactions to prevent this error. Thank you for your patience!
