Miley has been at AARCS for more than two years now, waiting patiently for her perfect forever home. Her journey hasn't been easy. When Miley first came to us, she was fearful and reactive, but thanks to the incredible dedication of our team and her wonderful foster home, she has made amazing progress. Miley has worked so hard to overcome her emotional scars, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far she’s come.
But now, she’s facing a devastating new challenge. Miley has suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament, a painful injury that makes it difficult for her to walk or play. She needs Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery, a costly procedure that requires the expertise of a specialist, to restore her quality of life and give her a chance at the happy, healthy future she deserves. Miley has already faced so much in her life, and this surgery is her next step toward finally finding peace and comfort.

Care requirements include TPLO, pain medications, behavioural medications, follow-up veterinary exams, follow-up x-rays, physiotherapy and daily care until Miley finds her forever home.
