Meet Nori, a sweet and playful 6-year-old Labrador mix who needs a little extra help to get ready for her forever home. Nori began showing signs of lameness in her left hind leg. After rest and pain management didn’t resolve the issue, our veterinary team determined she has a partial tear in her cranial cruciate ligament (CCL).
To ensure Nori is pain-free and ready for a lifetime of adventures, we’re sending her to a specialist for surgery to repair the tear. While Nori has already found her forever people in her foster-to-adopt home, we’re committed to making sure she gets the care she needs before finalizing her adoption. As a responsible rescue, we make sure to provide the care our animals need while they are with us rather than passing on urgent medical needs to adopters.
Can you help Nori get the surgery she needs to feel better and move forward in her journey? Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving Nori the healthy, happy life she deserves!
Email updates showing Nori's progress will be provided to those who donate towards her care.
Care requirements include TPLO surgery, pain management medications, follow up veterinary appointments and daily care until Nori is ready for adoption.
If the amount raised for Nori exceeds her cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.
Please note that when donating to more than one animal, your credit card may be flagged for unusual activity. We recommend waiting a few minutes between transactions to prevent this error. Thank you for your patience!
