Christopher came into our care as a tiny kitten battling a nasty upper respiratory infection and painful, infected ears. After a few weeks of treatment, his illness began to clear up and his left ear improved – but his right ear remained inflamed, with discharge that just wouldn’t go away.
Even after having his ears flushed under anesthesia, the issue lingered. X-rays revealed the culprit: a nasopharyngeal polyp in his ear canal was causing discomfort and ongoing infections. To give Christopher relief and prevent future complications, he needs Ventral Bulla Osteotomy (VBO) surgery, a specialized procedure to remove the polyp for good.
This surgery is Christopher’s best chance at a pain-free, happy life, but it comes with a significant cost. Your support can help cover the specialist surgery and post-operative care he needs to fully heal. Can you chip in to help Christopher get the surgery he needs for a future free of ear pain?
Email updates showing Christopher's progress will be provided to those who donate towards his care.
Care requirements include a specialist consultation, specialist surgery, pain management medications, follow up veterinary appointments and daily care until Christopher is ready for adoption.
If the amount raised for Christopher exceeds his cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.
