Sweet Chester has had a rough start. This one-year-old cat was surrendered to local authorities after apparently suffering a terrifying accident – a falling bed frame left him with serious injuries, including deep lacerations on his hind end and tongue, as well as a broken canine tooth. But what worries us most is that he may have an infection in his joint capsule.
Our veterinary team rushed Chester into emergency surgery to close up his wounds. We're giving him antibiotics and keeping him on strict crate rest to heal, but if we can't keep the infection under control, his leg may need to be amputated. No matter what, we are committed to giving Chester the best chance at recovery and a fresh start.
Will you donate today to help Chester get the urgent medical care he needs? You can be his hero and make a big difference in his life!
Email updates showing Chester's progress will be provided to those who donate towards his care.
Care requirements include emergency surgery, antibiotics, possible amputation, pain medications, follow up veterinary care and daily care until Chester is ready for adoption.
If the amount raised for Chester exceeds his cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.
Please note that when donating to more than one animal, your credit card may be flagged for unusual activity. We recommend waiting a few minutes between transactions to prevent this error. Thank you for your patience!
