Sparrow is a sweet six-month-old kitten with one eye that just isn't quite right. It's significantly smaller than normal – likely either a developmental disorder called microphthalmia, or he could simply missing the eye bulb altogether. Either way, the area is causing him discomfort and constant discharge.
To relieve his discomfort and set him on the path to a brighter future, our veterinary team needs to perform an enucleation surgery to remove the abnormal eye.
Sparrow may have come into this world a little different, but he’s full of life, love, and purrs. With your help, we can ensure he gets the medical care he needs and open the door to a pain-free, joyful future. Your support can help this brave boy take flight toward a pain-free future!
Email updates showing Sparrow's progress will be provided to those who donate towards his care.
Care requirements include enucleation surgery, neuter surgery, pain medications, follow-up veterinary care and daily care until Sparrow is ready for adoption.
If the amount raised for Sparrow exceeds his cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.
Please note that when donating to more than one animal, your credit card may be flagged for unusual activity. We recommend waiting a few minutes between transactions to prevent this error. Thank you for your patience!
