This is Lechnee! She’s a resilient little puppy who came into our care with a fractured leg.
After reviewing her case, our veterinarians determined that the odd location of the break meant that her best chance of a speedy recovery and a pain-free future was an amputation. Lechnee made it through surgery with flying colours and is currently recovering in her foster home.

Care requirements include x-rays, amputation surgery, pain medications (pre- and post-amputation), spay surgery, follow up veterinary care and daily care until Lechnee is ready for adoption.
If the amount raised for Lechnee exceeds her cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.
