Tiny Opal was rushed to emergency care at midnight, trembling and weak. She’s now the fourth puppy from a recent intake to test positive for parvovirus: a fast-moving, deadly illness that strikes without warning. Her siblings are being monitored closely for any sign of illness.

Right now, Opal is fighting for her life in critical care. She’s hooked up to IV fluids, receiving medications and constant monitoring, all in a desperate effort for her to pull through. The cost of emergency treatment is staggering – thousands of dollars per day – but we won’t give up on her. Opal’s life has just begun, and she deserves every chance to grow up and find the loving home she’s never known.

We need your support to give Opal the fighting chance she deserves. Can you be a part of her story and ensure she's not facing this battle alone?

Email updates showing Opal's progress will be provided to those who donate towards her care.

Care requirements include hospitalization, IV medication administration, repeated bloodwork daily, medication, personal protective equipment, time spent in isolation and medication administration by a vet or tech and daily care until Opal finds her forever home.

If the amount raised for Opal exceeds her cost of care, funds will help other animals in need.

Please note that when donating to more than one animal, your credit card may be flagged for unusual activity. We recommend waiting a few minutes between transactions to prevent this error. Thank you for your patience!
