Meet Pattie, a sweet and spirited 6-month-old Miniature Pinscher puppy who recently came into our care suffering from a fractured front leg. She urgently needed somewhere to go, and we knew we had to help her.
The road to recovery is going to be a long one for this rambunctious young pup, as she will need at least 6 weeks in her splint to heal properly. Despite her injury, Pattie’s playful, spirited personality shines through as she navigates the world with her bright pink splint!
Pattie is receiving pain medications to keep her comfortable while she heals, and she will require follow-up x-rays to monitor her progress. Your support can make all the difference in Pattie’s journey to recovery, helping her get back on her paws and eventually into the loving forever home she deserves! Care requirements include weekly splint changes (sedation is often required for this), repeat x-rays, ongoing pain management, vaccines, deworming, spay, microchip and daily care until Pattie is ready for adoption.
